:Sunny Orange Mornings :

If you have been following the latest fashion trends, you might already know of the phrase; ‘Orange is the new pink.’ But do you really agree to it?

Orange is one colour that I personally never really even tried. I was always under the assumption that orange and yellow make me look atleast two sizes bigger and completely avoided it, adding a lot of blues & blacks to my wardrobe. But when you are in fashion, experimentation is quite important. I suddenly found myself buying a lot of orange. When Koovs bombarded me with their ‘Sale’ emails, I had to check it out. (See how shopping sites provoke you to shop, even though you absolutely don’t want to?)

Boxy tops have always been on my mind; they look super stylish & classy; plus they look good on any figure. Fabric does play an important role though. So I picked this up in size ‘S’ and immediately loved the way it fit. This one is a little different too; from the front it is short, while the back is longer like a tunic. Especially in the summers, I urge everyone to try a lot of comfortable fabrics, and wear skirts, maxis and dresses to beat the heat.

Boxy tops look perfect with a pencil skirt, or even better with denim shorts! Just add a chunky necklace, or a pair of long earrings to complete the look. I decided to go to a different route this time, since I am already obsessed with shorts. With the top I wore ripped denims which I recently purchased and love it! The fitting is perfect and gives a very grunge look to the entire outfit. It makes it perfect for a sunny brunch, or a casual party.Img_0100Img_0117Img_0131
